Lots of videos just won't play for me. Here is some output that I get when that happens.
This happens because Youtube updated their JavaScript signature implementation.
I fixed it yesterday: https://github.com/omega-gg/Sky/c...a382b5db6af20b514005a041cb4bd0526.
This will appear on 1.2.0-1 when I get the time to upload the new version.

On ubuntu 16.04 with a tiling window manager.
It worked for me out of the box.
